Bio: My name is Megan, I'm a Canadian girl who is working on losing the weight I have been holding on to my whole life. I've tried over and over again to lose weight but I can't run fast enough to keep it from catching up and bringing friends. This time it I am serious. I'm in this for the long haul and I'm going to get to my ultimate goal. This blog is a place for me to get out the random thoughts that cross my mind. Everything from my hopes and dreams to my goals and defeats. I will be sharing random stories from my life and just about anything I feel like.

  1. Good luck, Megan. I have found in my weight loss experience that once I got the mental part right, the physical part came right along. First, it’s great that you have quit smoking. You were killing yourself in a hundred ways with cigarettes. Walking is a great way to spend your break time. First, it moves your body. Second, it clears your mind. You don’t have to eat on breaks. Occupy your mind. See sights. Remember, everything you eat becomes a part of you. Next time you are in a donut shop ask yourself if you want to put those empty calories into your system. Is the few seconds of sweet taste worth packing on more fat? Keep up the good work. Once you get your head straight, the pounds will melt off. Mine did.
